The Gina Wood Quartet - A unique option for your next event. The Gina Wood Quartet is a collaboration between the Terry Smirl Trio and violin virtuosa Gina Wood from Memorable Music Ensembles. The quartet's repertoire is virtually identical to the Terry Smirl Trio's repertoire of songs from the “Golden Age” of American popular song (click here for a song list). These songs work perfectly as background music or as dance music at corporate events, wedding receptions, holiday parties, etc.
The quartet - consisting of Gina on violin along with piano (or guitar), string bass, and drums - plays in the same modern, straight-ahead jazz style as does the Terry Smirl Trio, making it unlike any other quartet in southeast Wisconsin. The Gina Wood Quartet is available exclusively through Memorable Music Ensembles. Follow this link for booking info: Memorable Music Ensembles |
